About Family Pizza & Cocktail Lounge

Family Pizza & Cocktail Lounge is a pizza restaurant in Ceres, California. It is listed at 2921 E Whitmore Ave, Ceres, CA 95307, which places it among the local businesses of Ceres that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as bar, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 2–11 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Family Pizza & Cocktail Lounge at (209) 537-4791; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 488 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pizza restaurants in Ceres.

Ceres is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Ceres is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This review is for their pizza and delivery. Pizza is delicious, perfect crust to toppings ratio. Tastes homemade. Will absolutely order again. Delivery was fast, the gentleman was very friendly and polite. 100% recommend.

Ever since I discovered Family Pizza it's one of my favorite places to go and hangout after work, on a weekend, or my favorite time on game days! JT is by far my favorite bar tender I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He's absolutely amazing and great sense of humor. The food is absolutely delicious. Drinks are made just right and no other place can compare to the prices! I love the vibe, music, pool great company... family is the place to go! Kids are allowed in until a certain time FYI. My favorite drink shown below is the scooby snack.

Simply a hidden gem... Tucked away, hidden in a "neighborhood bar", is the best pizza in town! I've searched many places, and I know I have many other places to evaluate, but this one being so close to home and so readily accessible, deserves some high marks! For those of us who appreciate a good ol' neighborhood lounge: this is it! And to complement your favorite beverage, what could be better than pizza? Well, yes, tacos, but that's not served here... but pizza is! Worth the price and worth the wait (you know, while you're waiting and enjoying a cold one with JT!).

Very interesting place. I'd heard they had good food and came in to get some pizza. Based off the name I was expecting a typical pizza place, but this was more so a bar that happened to have pizza. Parking was near impossible. We had to park in front of a broken gas pump next door and I'm like 90 percent sure a homeless man peed on my buddies car door while we were inside. Staff seemed friendly, and the place was a little cramped. We tried out a pinball machine in the corner where their wasn't so many people which was in surprisingly really good condition. The actual pizza was pretty decent. I wouldn't say it was bad by any means and it was definitely on the cheaper side of things, but personally I think I'd spend the extra money for somewhere else. If I was to try this place again it would simply be through delivery.

I stopped in with my girl to have a drink and some food. The food from here is always off the hook. Service is always great. The staff is very friendly and pleasant. They have good music on the jukebox! Big restrooms that are clean. There are pool tables and a few games. They also have a small patio area for smokers. My only complaint this day is that it was so HOT in there. I don't ever recall a time when my girl & I felt that hot. It was so bad we didn't stay to eat our food there like we always do. We ended up asking if they could make the order to go instead and they absolutely packed every thing to go. I'm Not sure if the air conditioning went down or what the problem was but the food was phenomenal and we enjoyed it sitting in the shade in her car. We will definitely be back we just hope it won't be so hot next time. We ordered customized pizza bread & wings!
